A newly built condo in the White Bridge community in West Nashville caught fire. Responders from the Nashville Fire Department responded at 8:30 a.m.
Newly Built Condo Caught Fire
On Thursday morning, a newly built condo unit caught fire in the White Bridge community in West Nashville. The Nashville Fire Department responded around 8:30 a.m., traveling to the corner of Oceola Avenue and Lenox Avenue. Heavy smoke was coming from inside the building.
According to the Nashville Fire Department, the fire began in the garage and spread quickly to the living room and the second floor. Two vehicles were in the garage at the time. Both were charred and sustained extensive damage.
The unit was being used for short-term rentals. All the occupants were already outside when the Nashville Fire Department arrived. Both the responding personnel and the occupants reported no injuries. However, the cause of the fire is still unknown.
