A Team-Based Approach to Community Association Management
Cedar takes a team-based approach to Community Association Management services, personally investing in every client on behalf of their community.
Thanks to our team-based approach, community managers have ample time for same-day responses to phone calls and emails, as well as the availability to anticipate problems before they arise. This allows the manager to approach board meetings as an opportunity to partner with and educate board members to find solutions to challenges that are facing the association.
Additionally, each Cedar Management Group community is assigned a Senior Certified Community Association Manager who reviews all meeting minutes, action lists, and management reports. In event that the community manager is absent, the senior manager is familiar with all current association matters to ensure no interruption of services.
Each community manager is also backed by our in-house community support team. Support works closely with our community managers to perform daily administrative duties, process architectural applications, and generate all written correspondence to homeowners and vendors.
Finally, each community receives an association profile tracking preferred vendors for any potential maintenance issue. Our maintenance coordinators can then address, monitor, and report work orders issued for property maintenance in a quick and efficient manner.
Fast Facts About Community Association Management in the Carolinas, Tennessee, and Virginia
Planned communities are very popular in the United States — and for good reason. Community associations pose several benefits. For one thing, residents are given access to a wealth of amenities and facilities. And while each community can have different amenities, they usually include swimming pools, clubhouses, and fitness centers. Some even have private parks, golf courses, and tennis courts.
Additionally, living in a community association means taking advantage of the services provided. Again, these can vary from one association to another, but they can include garbage collection, landscaping, snow removal, and common area maintenance. On top of that, HOA living tends to give residents a sense of community.

The Importance of Professional Management
Community associations do a lot of good for their members. But, without proper management, these communities can easily fall by the wayside.
There are thousands of volunteer community leaders in the Carolinas. These volunteers are responsible for running communities, doing everything from dues collection and accounting to maintenance and vendor management.
Unfortunately, not all volunteers are equipped with the knowledge or experience needed for flawless community management. Others are skilled but lack the time to fully commit to the job. For this reason, many communities turn to an HOA management company.
