A fire causes major damage to a condominium in Antioch on Wednesday night, March 20, 2024. However, all the residents managed to exit the premises safely. Fire officials are still investigating the cause.
Antioch Condo Fire Causes Major Damage
An Antioch condominium fire causes major damage to a condo unit. According to the Nashville Fire Department (NFD), the fire started inside a condo in the 3400 block of Anderson Lane. The crew managed to stop the fire from spreading to two other units. However, the unit where the fire started sustained major damage.
Five people lived in the condo. According to one of the people at the scene, a hissing was heard followed by a boom sound. Everyone on the property managed to exit the building safely.
The NFD posted a video on social media at 7:22 p.m. It showed the NFD’s personnel putting out various hotspots from the fire. The video stated there were no reports of injuries to first responders or civilians at the time.
Currently, the fire officials are still investigating the source of the blaze. It’s important to practice fire safety to prevent these accidents from happening.
